It’s election week — if you haven’t voted yet, you better get on it. Ballots are due Tuesday.
Here’s what we’ve got in store for meetings this week:
Kitsap County Commissioners (meet at 619 Division Street, Port Orchard)
Monday, Nov. 7: The board’s morning and afternoon meetings have been canceled. HOWEVER there is a special public hearing planned for 3 p.m. with the Bainbridge Island City Council in the Port Blakely Conference room at the County Admin building.
The hearing items include applications for current use-open space, including: An application filed by Stanley Miller for Current Use Assessment –Open Space General on 5.88 acres of a 7.38 acre parcel located on the west side of the road at the junction of Agatewood and Dolphin Drive Bainbridge Island; and An application filed by Newell Parker for Current Use Assessment –Timberland for 5 acres located at 5524 Lynwood Center Road on Bainbridge Island.
Wednesday, Nov. 9, 8:30 a.m.: Agenda review for Nov. 14 meeting until 9:15 a.m.; Information sharing until 10 a.m.; Budget deliberations with Amber D’Amato until 11:30 a.m.; Executive session on real estate until noon. Adjourn.
City of Bremerton (meets at 345 Sixth Street, Bremerton)

City of Port Orchard (meets at 219 Prospect Street)
Tuesday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m.: There are no public
hearing items on the agenda. Business items include: Adoption of
resolution No. 037-11, setting the amount of property taxes to be
levied for the year 2012; Public event application: Jingle Bell
Run.
City of Poulsbo (City Hall, 200 Moe Street)
Wednesday, Nov. 9, 7 p.m.: The meeting will start with a 7:15 p.m. public hearing on the 2012 budget, this is the first of two public hearings on the budget, the second will be Nov. 16; Approval and award of Liberty Bay Trail project contract; Fjord Drive project update; Ordinance on Felkey annexation legal description correction.
