Kitsap County Commissioners (meet at 619 Division Street, Port Orchard)

Monday, Sept. 5: No meetings, offices closed in observance of the holiday weekend.

Wednesday, Sept. 7, 8:30 a.m.: Agenda review for 9/12/2011 meeting 8:35 – 9:15 a.m.; Information sharing 9:15 – 10 a.m.; Parks budget debriefing with parks Director Jim Dunwiddie 10 – 11 a.m.; Executive session re: existing litigation with Eric Baker 11 – 11:30 a.m.; Executive Session re: Real Estate 11:30 – 12 p.m. Adjourn.

City of Bremerton (meets at 345 Sixth Street, Bremerton)

Wednesday, Sept. 7,: Briefing from 5 to 5:30 p.m. upstairs. General meeting begins 5:30 p.m. in council chambers, public hearing items are: Ordinance No. 5161 vacating portions of alley between Hewitt and Veneta Avenues, and 4th and 5th Streets; Ordinance No. 5162 to adopt the amended proposal modifying the Bremerton City Council District Boundaries (The hearing is to take public testimony on the modified boundaries, but there will be no action taken until the Council Meeting on September 21, 2011…)

City of Port Orchard (meets at 219 Prospect Street)

No meetings this week.

City of Poulsbo (City Hall, 200 Moe Street)

Wednesday, Sept. 7, 7 p.m.: Agenda items include introduction of new North Kitsap School District principals; an ordinance on Medical Marijuana Moratorium – Collective Gardens; an agreement for donation of property – N.W.I. Trust; final acceptance of the old city hall demolition contract.

Housing Kitsap (345 Sixth Street, Bremerton)

Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1-3:30 p.m.: The Housing Kitsap board will meet on the fifth floor of the Norm Dicks Government Center. New business items include: discussion of generic ordinance defining process for elected officials appointing representatives to the board; approval of new Housing Kitsap policy: Resident commissioner selection; approval of new Housing Kitsap policy: Board chair and vice chair election; approval of Housing Kitsap purchasing authorization tree by title – addendum to policy; determine board retreat date.

Kitsap County Planning Commission (619 Division Street, Port Orchard)

Tuesday, Sept. 6, 6 p.m.: The Planning Commission will hold deliberations for the Limited Apparel Espresso Stand. The Planning Commission will be only be deliberating on the Limited Apparel Espresso Stand code alternatives; no public testimony will be heard. The public will have a chance to testify again at the Board of County Commissioner’s Public Hearing, which has not yet been set.
