Kitsap County Commissioners (meet at 619 Division Street, Port Orchard)

Monday, July 18, 10 a.m.: Board information sharing until noon.

2 p.m.: Meeting canceled.

Wednesday, July 20, 8:30 a.m.: The biggest item on this agenda is the board’s scheduled appointment to the 23rd Legislative District Senate seat. Rep. Christine Rolfes, D-Bainbridge Island, is the top pick of the Democratic party. The decision is expected to take 10 minutes. Next the board will review its agenda for its July 25 meeting for 45 minutes, then do 30 minutes of information sharing before recessing into an executive session from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Adjournment follows.

City of Bremerton (meets at 345 Sixth Street, Bremerton)

Wednesday, July 20, 5:30 p.m.: The Bremerton City Council will meet upstairs for a briefing at 5 p.m. then come downstairs for the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m.  Items on the agenda have to do with the second phase of the Park Avenue Plaza project. Full agenda found here.

City of Port Orchard (216 Prospect Street)

Tuesday, July 19, 5 p.m.: Council will spend the meeting discussing its 2012 Budget priorities.

City of Poulsbo (City Hall, 200 Moe Street)

Wednesday, July 20, 7 p.m.: The meeting will include a presentation on the John Jacob, Master License Service which would allow the city to contract its business licenses and renewals through a state system; next will be the award official newspaper contract and second quarter 2011 budget amendments, followed by a budget presentation by the city’s finance director; last the council will hear about the Valhalla Village binding site plan extension.

Central Kitsap Community Council (5300 Newberry Hill Road)

Wednesday, July 20, 7-9 p.m.: The meeting will include an update on the Newberry Hill/Chico/Silverdale Way intersection, followed by a discussion of possible displays for the CKCC booth at the county fair.
