Happy summer everyone, well at least the Northwest’s version of summer. Here’s the meeting sked for the week.
Kitsap County Commissioners (meet at 619 Division Street, Port Orchard)
Monday, July 11, 9 a.m.: Board information sharing until 11 a.m.
2 p.m.: Five minutes into this meeting an
executive session will be held to give the board an update on “all
litigation”. This update will take an hour and-a-half. The board
will reconvene at 3:30 p.m. for a waiving fees discussion with
Parks and Recreation director Jim Dunwiddie, then have a 45 minute
discussion on an opiate replacement clinic proposal for Kitsap
County with Kitsap County Health District leaders. The meeting will
adjourn at 4:30 p.m.
7 p.m.: The only public hearing item on the agenda is Public Hearing to consider an ordinance that imposed a 180-day moratorium on the acceptance of new applications for certain development permits in the Manchester Village commercial zone.
Wednesday, July 13, 8:30 a.m.: This meeting starts with a 15 minute board information sharing segment, followed by a 30-minute update on the county’s agricultural plan and inventory. At 9:20 the commissioners will spend the next hour talking about a proposed amendment to the county’s shooting ordinance. At 10:20 the board will recess into three consecutive executive sessions about potential litigation, pending litigation and real estate. The meeting should adjourn around 11:40 a.m.
City of Bremerton (meets at 345 Sixth Street, Bremerton)
Wednesday, July 13, 5 p.m.: The Bremerton City Council will meet upstairs for a study session. Many of the items on the discussion agenda have to do with the second phase of the Park Avenue Plaza project. Full agenda found here.
City of Port Orchard (meets at 219 Prospect Street)
Tuesday, July 12, 7 p.m.: The two public hearing items include pre-annexation development agreements with Home Depot and Walmart. Business items include a contract authorizing the mayor to execute an agreement for the city’s official newspaper publication services and a contract authorizing the mayor to execute the pre-annexation development agreement with Home Depot.
City of Poulsbo (City Hall, 200 Moe Street)
Wednesday, July 13, 7 p.m.: The meeting starts with a joint meeting with the North Kitsap School Board, followed by the adoption of the Rose master plan findings then an agreement w/ Parametrix regarding the Anderson Parkway low impact development retrofit and budget Amendment and then another agreement w/Parametrix on the Old Town Poulsbo Low impact development retrofit. The business meeting ends with a review of the city’s 6-year Transportation Improvement Program.
