Barack Obama was born on the grassy knoll

April 28th, 2011 by Steven Gardner

I wish New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie would have been the one people had suspicions about when it came to his birth. I wish that because Christie could get away with telling people to do something physically with themselves that I’m pretty sure is anatomically impossible.

Instead, it’s Obama, a man who probably would be scolded for telling people to kiss his tuckus, which is probably what he should have said all along. Anyone who wasn’t convinced by the first birth document that has been available for everyone to see for going on three years probably wasn’t going to buy the latest (or earliest) document. So why bother releasing the original?

Read this. If you don’t want to, the birther movement benefits Obama, especially if he can lump all his critics in with those seen as loonies. He can make jokes at fundraisers and seem the victim of some real wackiness the media wouldn’t ignore.

Obama to birthers: “Thank you.”

Either that or he really was just tired of it.

I have to admit some affection for birthers. If my mom were alive I would halfway suspect that she would be one. Her mother was convinced JFK was not killed in Dallas that day. She got her information from a guy on a bus. She could argue about a lot of things, but she was particularly convinced about that one. My mom defended Nixon beyond reason. Sure, you can believe a lot about the guy that would make him less crooked than he was judged to be, but at some point you have to admit he did something wrong.

The Washington Post story linked in the second paragraph is interesting, because it again makes the point that when we’re emotionally invested in something we are inclined to hold fast to it even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Conspiracy theories have the self-sustaining gift of ramification: They sprout new tendrils, like a mad vine that has invaded from another continent. For the committed conspiracy theorist, there is always another angle to explore, another anomaly to scrutinize.

Heaven knows I have been emotionally attached to things that were hard to defend. New Coke is one I remember.

    Are you that easily fooled?

The Birth Certificate just issued as proof of Obama’s birth in Hawaii appears to have been altered in Photoshop. The document appears to have been typed on white paper then floated over official green paper (on a separate layer).

The white portion of the layer containing the typewritten information was then selected by the “Magic Selection Tool” in Photoshop and then cleared – exposing the green official paper underneath. The document appears not to have been cleaned up.

Residual white remains around the letters and inside the boxes containing an “X” on the Birth Certificate. This can be plainly seen when the document is enlarged to 200%. Rush Limbaugh is right that Obama’s hand was forced. It is my opinion that a poorly executed falsification resulted. Take a look for yourself.

President Obama’s Birth Certificate PDF has “Layers”

The really odd thing here is why the Main Stream Media (that would be YOU) don’t take this more seriously. You like to make fun of it and try to belittle people pointing out the issues. Why is that? It seems to me that if you had any journalistic integrity, you would look into this.

My personal feeling is that Obama was born in Hawaii, but that the circumstances of his birth have been altered. Why, I don’t know. I also think the white house knows darn well there are a million Photoshop experts out there who are going to jump on this. In fact, if you bother to look around (You know: “Investigative” journalism?) you’ll find out they already have. That leads me to believe the White House would much rather keep the focus here than on the issues facing the country and Obama’s total lack of leadership.

Apparently I am that easily fooled, in that I was convinced the first time. And I don’t buy the latest cries of “fake.” I also knew that no matter what kind of proof Obama presented, someone would be out there trying to poke holes in it. My nephew was born in Hawaii. His birth certificate, the one he would use to get a passport, looks just like the one Obama had out there since 2008. I’m guessing my nephew won’t ever run for president, so it isn’t really going to affect too many of us. That 2008 evidence, though, is probably where I formed my own personal attachment.

Further, the National Review (hardly a leftist rag) is dismissing all the claims of so-called Photoshop experts. From the piece I’ll link to, “It’s likely that whoever scanned the birth certificate in Hawaii forgot to turn off the OCR setting on the scanner.”

I have no doubt he has a Hawaii birth certificate, it goes nicely with the original from Kenya that was displayed OVER AND OVER.

He lied to someone, whether it was the people in Indonesia so he could go to school or the people in Hawaii.

I don’t really care though, What I do care about are the lies he told the American people when he was campaigning..

Things like Afghanistan, Iraq, and no illegal use of Arms without congressional approval….and Congress has YET to authorize force in Libya.
    He’s George Bush’s distant cousin!

Bring our boys home from Afghanistan, Iraq – HE CAMPAIGNED ON THOSE AND PROMISED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HE WOULD DO IT!

Too many young men dying over there for what, freedom of a corrupt government infected with Taliban?

Bring our boys home and solve half of our financial problems.

This is a benefit of no longer belonging to ther republican party . Hard to see why a Donald Trump can be leading in the polls for the GOP . But how some of the dems handle this situation is no better . For one the calls of racism because of the conspiratorial theories .
Yikes Obama has it easier then Bush or Clinton did , remember Clinton was in a conspiracy to kill Vince Foster stories ! Remember Bush and the Saudis being in Cohoots with 9/11. Michael Moore made movie off his documentary on it . A very popular liberal church showed the Truth Movie about our own Government conspiring to cause 9/11.

That birthier theory first emerged in the spring of 2008, as Clinton supporters circulated an anonymous email questioning Obama’s citizenship.

“Barack Obama’s mother was living in Kenya with his Arab-African father late in her pregnancy. She was not allowed to travel by plane then, so Barack Obama was born there and his mother then took him to Hawaii to register his birth,” asserted one chain email that surfaced on the urban legend site Snopes.com in April 2008.

We don’t have fact machines by our sides , by the time we can refute some made up stuff a million people have already heard it and passd it on . Never hear the real story , and some are so convinced because the person who told them the story is an honest person they trust .
