No Go for Pot

January 20th, 2010 by Steven Gardner

It’s in on the P-I.

The Legislature won’t consider a bid to legalize or another one to decriminalize marijuana.

But, if you hear reggae music, don’t be surprised to find yourself talking to a signature gatherer.

  1. Jane Rebelowski Says:

    Steve,
Many of us who would be willing to gather initiative signatures are not pot smokers & would have a difficult time finding our Bob Marley eight tracks. We do however realize that the WAR on CITIZENS (as opposed to the Prison Guard Union’s WAR on Drugs needs to be stopped. I would rather support elderly, the young , mentally or physically disabled residents of Washington State with my tax dollars instead of supporting the Reefer Madness mentality. Follow the money.
