Inslee, Dicks Host Pelosi in Seattle
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. will be in Seattle touring Swedish Medical Center’s Medical Home Pilot in Ballard today. She’ll be accompanied by our congressional representatives and Seattle Democrat Jim McDermott.
All three voted Saturday in favor of HR 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, which passed the House 220-215.

Pelosi, Washington Delegation to Tour Swedish Medical Center and Hold Press Conference in Seattle Today
Seattle – Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Congressman Jim McDermott, Congressman Norman Dicks, and Congressman Jay Inslee will tour the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood on Monday, November 9. To improve access to medical care for the uninsured and underinsured, Swedish Medical Center has launched an innovative “Medical Home Pilot” at its Ballard Campus, geared to providing affordable access to primary care, wellness and prevention for all patients, including the underserved.
The tour will be followed by a press conference at approximately 2:30 p.m. to discuss health insurance reform.
