Sharon we are talking about the future of the American automotive industry. It is one of the only industrial manufacturing export sectors that we still have. I think a 15 billion dollar loan is cheap to save millions of jobs and an industry that is worth trillions. Besides it is a loan and I think it is a good investment.

It is sad that my niece will grow up and never see “Made in America” on anything besides handguns and military weapons.

The auto industry might not be in our backyard but we are a part of a nation wide economy that is a part of a global economy and we need to stick together if we want to make it. I am against most corporate welfare but even I see the need to help save a dying staple of the American economy.

Now if we only made fuel efficient vehicles as a part of Jay’s New Apollo project that people actually wanted to buy instead of giant stupid suburbian assault vehicles.

Well James. The new congress is not even in session yet since anything passed by congress now has the threat of veto by Lame Duck Bush.

What has Jay brought home? Well Bangor and Keyport were off the BRAC list and the ferry systems have federal funding for security.

Just wait for the next congress to start and President Obama to take office.

Jay supported the efforts to save the US auto industry but the Republicans voted against it.

What did that Israel guy that Jay ray against get appointed to? Oh yeah that’s right jack squat because he and his party totally lost.

Not only did Jay win re-election he got 70%. We don’t know if Jay even put himself in the running or wanted to stay in the house and work with Speaker Pelosi.

Well, look at the bright side. Jay just won reelection. He can continue to try to bring the bacon home to 1st Congressional. I can smell the brewing coffee and smell the bacon. Yum !
