**RED FLAG WARNING Issued by the National Weather Service**
July 2nd, 2009 by Matthew LeachIt is really late right now (I’m almost done with Season 3 of 24 and started watching it at 9:30. Man I let time slip away!) and before I went to bed I wanted to check evening weather updates because I had a suspicion the National Weather Service was going to issue something related to the dry, warm conditions lately and I couldn’t let the Kitsap Sun beat me to it! As expected, at 9:22 PM they issued a RED FLAG WARNING which typically means the fire danger is high due to warm and dry weather conditions.
You can read the warning below. I decided to copy and paste it. Have a great evening and I’ll notify you of any changes to the warnings/watches tomorrow morning.
