I kinda find it hard to believe that some people are "starting" to grow veggies...I grew up working in the family garden that my mother would can and/or store everything for the winter..But I guess it's like the story about the plow horses and some kid getting excited about touching a horse for the first time..people...get out of the city and visit your surroundings..we live in one of the most beautiful places in the world..believe it or not..Iv'e worked construction all over this country and when I came here in 72..I bought 5 acres for $8900.00 and stayed..I grow veggies and fruit every year..try it ..you'll get addicted..
