Cooking Classes in Bremerton
January 9th, 2009 by adiceIt’s been a really busy (and unfortunately not for cooking) kind of week, and I apologize.
I want to drop a quick note, however, about a recently started series of cooking classes geared toward home cooks. Classes are offered at the Westgate Community Hall in Bremerton, next to Crownhill Elementary School on Rocky Point Road.
Many of the classes are set for Mondays, but a some upcoming classes are Friday Jan. 16 and Saturday the 17th. Topics range from appetizers to desserts.
Cost is $25 to $35 for a 2 hour session. I hope to try out a couple of classes, such as one next Friday on “elegant plated desserts” and maybe one on breads or petit fours.
Here’s their web site if you’re interested: http://creativecookingschool.org

Something I’m really excited about is the creative cooking school upcoming cooking class/ess for COPDers and caregivers….sometime the end of February or into March.
So… COPDers, mark your calenders for a first.
As far as I know they will be the first to provide cooking classes for specific nutritional needs patients and – something so needed and Kitsap County will have it!

I would love to take cooking classes if they were cheap. I think I am a good cook, specially when i try to create my own dishes, but my kids don’t ever like it.
