Fantasy Football Preview – QB and WR

Depending on how your league is structured, the QB may not be as important for you to have a championship season like it is in real life. However, it is an important position, plus you add that WR is definitely a big play. Here are my Top 5 picks at each of the positions along with a sleeper for both…

Quarterbacks:

1 – Drew Brees – New Orleans

2 – Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay

3 – Peyton Manning – Indianapolis

4 – Matt Schaub – Houston

5 – Tom Brady – New England

Sleeper – Kevin Kolb – Philadelphia

Wide Receivers:

1 – Andre Johnson – Houston

2 – Larry Fitzgerald – Arizona

3 – Brandon Marshall – Miami

4 – Randy Moss – New England

5 – Reggie Wayne – Indianapolis

Sleeper – Mike Williams – Seattle

Williams is in the “deep sleeper” category because I think with the injuries to Housh and Branch, he will find himself the Go-to-guy for Matt Hasselbeck. You heard it here first. By the way, when I say think about having him on your team, make him the 4th or 5th WR on your roster and see how it plays out, OR make sure you have him on your watch list. I think the first game may be critical for him and his fantasy value if he has a big game.
