Tess, your story is inspiring. I am 55 years widowed mom with 16 year old daughter. My FEV1 is 29% and I started on oxygen 3 days ago. I also got a treadmill at home and managed just a couple of minutes. 120 yards is my absolute maximum, but has increased slightly with the oxygen. The pounds have piled on since I first got sick and I am determined to lose them and get as fit as possible. I am printing your story out and putting it on the wall in front of my treadmill to keep me going while I lose my 100 pounds! Thank you Tess and well done! I promise to stick with this every day. with love from Vanessa in the UK.
