If you don’t have something planned for Tuesday night, take some time to attend the Fourth Annual Central Kitsap family night.

The event is sponsored by a number of community organizations and is intended to encourage families to make the effort to set aside time each week to spend with each other. Sounds simple, but in our modern world single-parent families are  common and families with two parents ost often have both parents working. In those cases especially, when so much time seems to be spent supporting the basics of life, it is so easy to forget to schedule time just to be a family.

The event will feature about 30 booths designed to give you some ideas about how to make sure to initiate or appreciate those family times.

From personal experience, I know how simple yet powerful the idea is to schedule time to make something happen with your family. I’d highly recommend families take advantage of this opportunity.

The event runs 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Presidents Hall. It’s free and open to anyone who wishes to attent.
