Condolences to Central Kitsap Commissioner Josh Brown, who lost his sister in a senseless shooting in California.
The story in the Kitsap Sun indicates that 26-year-old Tersha Brown, a 2001 Central Kitsap High School graduate, was killed Monday in Sacramento. Police there say her 31-year-old boyfriend shot Brown in their apartment after an argument.
Brown was a softball player at CKHS who later played for college teams at the University of New Mexico and Sonoma State University.

So very sad. Incredibly sad. My prayers are with the Brown family and all who knew and loved Tersha. I just ache for her mother, Sharon, who is such a sweetheart. I am so sorry.

I am so very sorry for the family…the shock reading this took me back twenty-five years and the phone call telling me that my brother was shot and killed. Murdered.
I had to tell our parents their youngest and only son was dead.
You have my prayers, Mr. and Mrs. Brown, Josh, family and friends. Time and activity will help soften the pain….I promise.
God Bless… Sharon O’Hara
