Welcome to the CK Beat

Hello and welcome to the first blog entry of the newly created CK Beat. The purpose of this blog is to create a discussion with readers about things happening primarily in the Central Kitsap area, however there may be times when overall county issues are also addressed.

I would like to use this blog to discuss stories that either I write or other reporters write about the CK area. In addition I may post more information about a story that didn’t make it into the print or online additions.

Because the CK area is so large, and primarily unincorporated, I also hope people would use this as a forum to suggest story ideas that I may miss because I can’t be everywhere at once.
