Weekly wine defined: Rotofermenter

So what the heck is a Rotofermenter?

Well it’s a fermentation vessel that mixes the grapes mechanically, of course!

It was designed to eliminate the human touch, by punching down or pumping over fermenting wine automatically. While it speeds up the fermentation time, it does have the tendency to produce astringent wines.
