Sharon,

I never said it was a paying job.(smile) I have one of those already in the private sector. I am simply writting a column as a community member here in Bremerton. I am doing it for the pure fun and joy I get from writting about the community in which I live and love.

Oh yes, the beat does go on. The tempo may change but it will continue not only in the heart and mind of those readers who were introduced to ‘blogging’ from the Bremerton Beat but the energy flows out into other forms, a part of us all. It gives us a base and the ability to move on.

Colleen, I was unaware Andy is still here…and that you’ve got a paying job as a reporter – thanks to Andy and the Bremerton Beat Blog.

I really enjoyed the Bremerton Beat when Andy Binion wrote it. I was just starting my blogging career and was really stoked when he once featured my blog in his blog – I even wrote a blog about him blogging about my blog! After he left it just wasn’t the same!
