Police Blotter: Sleepy driver flips his car

This week, a driver nodded off and banged his Infinity off a Subaru. His car rolled but no injuries were reported.
The blotter is below.
June 22
Crash: Malfunctioning brakes caused a taxi van driven by a
Suquamish man to veer off Winslow Way, drive over a front lawn and
crash into a hedge at about 11:30 a.m. No injuries or
citations.
June 20
Theft: A Bainbridge woman’s wallet was stolen from her purse while
she was working at the Furnish Bainbridge business on Winslow Way.
The theft likely occurred during the morning while the woman’s
purse sat near her desk. The wallet, valued at $75, contained money
cards and identification.
June 19
Found: An officer on patrol found a football “in decent shape”
sitting in the parking lot of Ace Hardware just before 1 a.m. It
was placed in evidence.
June 18
Crash: An 18-year-old Bainbridge man was cited for inattentive
driving after he injured another driver in a crash on Miller Road
just after 2:30 p.m. The man said he may have fallen asleep,
causing his Infinity sedan to veer into the oncoming lane. His car
rolled onto its roof after it struck a Subaru Forrester car driven
by a Bainbridge woman. She reported abdominal and neck pain but
declined medical transport. The Infinity driver suffered no
injuries. Both vehicles were towed.
