Four guys and a wedding

mywedding

When I imagined what the office of island-based business Mywedding.com might be like, I pictured a dozen or so ladies tapping away at keyboards and gossiping about celebrity wedding gowns.

Looks I was way off the mark. Mywedding.com com is a testosterone-driven business with two local boys at the helm. The company’s management team includes two other guys based in Vancouver B.C. and Portland, Ore.

“It feels perfectly natural. I love weddings,” said Mywedding’s Rob Johnsen, a 1988 Bainbridge High School grad (pictured above with the corsage).

Online since 2001, Mywedding.com helps link couples up with venues, gowns, tuxes, caterers, musicians and all the rest. The site gets 1.7 million visits a month.
