  1. While I agree with Winston’s platform generally – (fiscal accountability and infrastructure maintenance), I find Winston’s comments about Hytopoulos to be behind the times and sexist. As an attorney, she has a good working understanding of the political process and she possesses strong negotiating skills. She has been very active addressing City spending issues, taking positions that have called the council and mayor to task. \Running a website\ is a modern method for reaching people who care about these issues. And besides all this, yes indeed, she is a mother. Is any of this a bad thing? Sounds like just what we need to me.

  2. I agree with Candace, I was reading along and agreeing with much of what Winston said, until I got to where he attempts to belittle Ms. Hytopoulos. At that point he comes out looking like a sexist, “good ole’ boy”. They voters said “no thank you” twice already to Mr. Winston being on the council. That should say a lot about his “skill set”.
