New poll: Why’d Bainbridge swap its mayor for a manager?

Enough ballots are in to show a clear win for the campaign to change Bainbridge Island’s system of government.

Out with the mayor. In with the manager. Up with a new poll: What’s the main reason voters chose the council-manager form of government?

You’ll find the poll over in the right column.

  1. How about another poll?

If given the opportunity during the recent balloting you would have also voted to:

    A. Toss out the 4 council members and replace them with go-go dancers
    B. Sell city hall to the highest bidder at the next Rotary auction
    C. Contract out island law enforcement duties to the Suquamish police department
    D. All of the above

  2. How about mandatory blog poll voting on every issue before council(along with free internt access to all residents)?

  3. ear R2D2,

Another consideration would be to go back to County managem, ent and then we rid ourselves of the 4, City Hall, and allot of very bad ideas.
