Christine will run
Tuesday, February 28th, 2006Former Bainbridge Island City Councilwoman Christine Nasser Rolfes is planning to run against state Rep. Beverly Woods, R-Kingston, for her 23rd District legislative seat.
Earlier this month Rolfes filed a candidate registration form with the state’s Public Disclosure Commission.
The Bainbridge Democrat served six years on the City Council and is currently a member of the Kitsap Public Facilities District.
To date Rolfes and Woods are the only ones to register as candidates for the Position 2 seat in the 23rd Legislative District.
Incumbent state Rep. Sherry Appleton, D-poulsbo, has registered as a candidate for the Position 1 seat.
