What fued?? I have no idea what what you are talking about. I don't care about what parents or coaches are in a fued! If this is truly about the "kids" to have fun and play football then why do you say this will keep the fued going? My son want's to play football, and he has no idea why he can't play his classmates on the PYF team like he did last year. If my son is to learn by following good leaders in sportsmanship, honer, hard work ect...then why should there be a problem between the kids by way of there parents? And yes the kids do have fun, there is nothing wrong with team rivalry look at PHS and the Tides. Do you think they stop having a fish bowl if there was some kind of fued between the teams or parents? Why do you think it is not best for the kids if the community came together? Maybe you know something I don't....

You see its all the same from bulldog parents and i was one of them, preach about the fun for the kids but in the end you said it yourself, "what is pyf afraid of" You cant have it both ways, either you want the kids to have fun and play some ball or you want to keep the fued going. I believe above all else that the sole reason why we will never play is that it continues to cause problems between the kids by way of their parents. The same kids that play for both teams play together at school and over half i am sure are friends and have been since kindergarden. The community should come together but never will until it is best for the kids. We again are talking of youth sports, this is their time to learn sportsmanship, honor, hardwork, and dedication. They learn by following so i say be good leaders and the rest will fall in place. Gooooo Football!!

You see the problem is that some programs encourage fair play, honesty, and town spirit, not only through the coaches but the whole organization, where as some dont. I also have been in both organizations and have even set up a scrimmage between the two. I have to say that both teams have great coaches that care about the kids but that is not where it starts. It starts with the higher ups, and its just unfortunate that the person who wrote this couldnt see that before he called PYF out in public. Bad Form Sir!!!
Maybe in the future when the "adults" are done running things the kids will get to play.

My son has played for the Bulldogs for 2 years now. All of his class mates that play football are with PYF and he almost changed teams this year due to the pressure from his class mates on the PYF teams. I told my son it was his decision and I am happy to say he wanted to stay loyal to his Bulldog team. Last year his PYF class mates were giving him a bad time about being a "Bulldog" He was able to play a friendly game with his PYF class mates, needless to say they stopped giving him a bad time. I have been very impressed with the Bulldog coaches. What ever rumors or petty differences these two programs may have,I find it very sad that they can;t put them a side for our kids and the community. This game would be a victory for all involved. I have just one question for the PYF team...what are you afraid of??
