This season is over. Go young and cheap and put your effort into the draft board. At least we have Tampa Bay coming to town, so 3-13 is looking more likely. Our special teams coverage is horrendous and there is no running game. We have the best run defense over the last five or six games and a great kicking game (kickoffs, field goals and punts)and decent pass rush and coverage. Just too many turnovers and the drives (without a running game)are too short, killing our time of possession and leaving the defense on the field for too long. Look what happens when someone like Peyton Manning gets ahold of a defense for that long . . .

Can you say Franco Harris? Patrick Ewing? Bringing in old Hall of Famers at the twilight of their careers do nothing but possibly sell a few more tickets. Not worth it. Just don’t bring Shaun Alexander back . . . I’d sign Larry Dixon from Olympic High! He’s already better than all of them and he can score touchdowns (up to 6 a game).

I agree, good move, I don’t know why they brought him in, in the first place. If you have NO offensive line to block, why waste money?
